Matchmaking

Matchmaking done by a person, not an algorithm.

"Matchmaking" used to mean someone who actually knew both people involved. That's closer to what we do than what most apps call matching today.

What we mean by matchmaking

Most apps call it "matching" but really mean sorting: an algorithm ranks people by swipe behavior and shows you a feed. There's no one on the other end who's actually met either of you or understands what you're looking for beyond a few profile tags.

Soul Meet works the older way. You talk to a real person on our team, they understand what you actually want — not what a set of filters approximates — and they only suggest an introduction when they think it's genuinely worth your time. No feed, no ranking, no profile to browse.

Who this is actually for

  • Women who are tired of swiping through profiles that don't reflect who someone actually is.
  • Women who want a specific kind of connection — casual, one-time, or something with more room to grow — without having to spell it out in a bio for strangers to see.
  • Women who'd simply rather talk to a person than manage another app.

This isn't matrimonial matchmaking, and there's no pressure toward anything beyond what you actually want — from a single evening to something ongoing. See our FAQ for the specifics on that.

How an introduction actually gets made

Full breakdown on our how it works page, but in short: you reach out, a real person calls you, and an introduction only happens once you've said yes to hearing more about someone specific — never a surprise, never automatic.
